Below is a list of the most important dates for the IAUS334 symposium:
- June 30th 2016 : 1st announcement.
- August 15th 2016: Registration opens.
- November 17th 2016: 2nd announcement.
- Deadline for registration extended to 8 January, 2017.
- January 9th 2017: Abstract submission deadline.
- January 25th 2017: 3rd announcement to registered participants.
- March 1st 2017: Deadline for IAU Travel Grant application.
- March 9th 2017: SOC announces acceptance for contributions.
- March 15th 2017: Deadline for the early registration fee payment.
- April 30th 2017: 4th announcement and communication of awarded IAU grants.
- May 15th 2017: Late registration fee due.

June 22nd: Deadline for the printed proceedings request (iaus334_soc-at-aip.de).
- June 26th 2017: 5th announcement containing symposium instructions.
- July 9th 2017: Welcome cocktail in front of the Einstein Tower in Telegrafenberg.
- July 10th 2017: Symposium starts.
